Pamela Pease lives in Chapel Hill, NC

with her husband, two daughters, two dogs, cat, and horse.

She is the founder of Paintbox Press.

Before beginning to write and illustrate picture books,

Pam worked in southern California as a fashion designer,

which influences the way she uses color and pattern in her art.

Pamela is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati

College of Design, Architecture & Art, and

received a Masters in Illustration from Syracuse University.
